Matthew serves as the Lead Pastor at Capital Community Church. Originally from Alabama, Matthew, Kathryn, and their children developed a heart for New England when they moved to Worcester, MA, to work with Pleasant Street Baptist Church in 2007. From 2011 to 2015 they served at Greenbrier Road Baptist Church in Anniston, AL. In 2015, the Nunnelleys settled in Montpelier, VT, and began serving with the Smiths who started Capital Community Church a year earlier.
